Nervous is normal. Here’s what makes it easy.
A door that closes
Private room, no curtains, no audience.
Woman to woman
She explains each step before she starts, so nothing is a surprise.
Kind to sensitive skin
Hard wax grips the hair, not you.
Ask anything, any time. Pausing is always okay.
Step by step
What Happens at Your Appointment
Quick check-in
Tell your skin therapist what you’d like: fully bare or a shape. Then a pre-treatment wipe sanitizes the skin.
Trim if needed
Hair is trimmed if needed so the wax grips well and doesn’t pull during application.
Small, precise sections
Warm hard wax shrink-wraps each hair and lifts off without pulling at your skin. Never strips.
Tidy & soothe
Strays are tweezed, any stickiness is removed, and a soothing treatment calms the skin.
Plan on about 15 minutes, start to finish.

Brazilian Wax FAQ
Straight answers to what women ask us most.
Will my skin therapist be a woman?
Yes. Every women's Brazilian is done by our female skin therapist, in a private room.
What's the difference between a Brazilian and a bikini wax?
A bikini line ($52) tidies what shows outside a swimsuit. A full bikini ($65) goes further in. A Brazilian ($75) covers the entire front, bare or shaped. The butt strip is an add-on.
Can I keep a landing strip or triangle?
Of course. Tell your skin therapist the shape you want; the price stays the same.
How long does a Brazilian take?
About 15 minutes.
How long should my hair be?
About 1/4 inch, the length of a grain of rice. Longer is fine; we trim it.
Does it hurt?
The first wax stings the most. Hard wax is gentler than strips, and it gets easier with regular visits.
Can I wax on my period or while pregnant?
Yes to both. On your period, wear a fresh tampon or cup. Skin can be more sensitive at these times, so let your skin therapist know.
How long do results last?
Usually two to four weeks. Rebook every three to five weeks, or as needed.
What should I do afterward?
For 24 hours, skip workouts, pools, saunas and hot tubs, and wear loose, breathable clothes. Start gentle exfoliation on day three to prevent ingrown hairs.
Where are you, and is there parking?
1450 Washington Street, on the Hillcrest and University Heights border, with free private parking. Open every day, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
