Our Advanced Acne Peel is fully customized by licensed skin therapists. The strength is matched to your skin, extractions are included, and blue light therapy is included when it’s right for your skin. Lux Red Light Therapy is an optional add-on. Customized from light to deep, based on how strong you want your peel and how much downtime you’re comfortable with. Downtime stays minimal, even with a deep acne peel.

What strength of salicylic acid do you use?
We carry 10%, 15% and 20% salicylic acid. Your skin therapist chooses the strength and depth within what's safe for your skin, based on your sensitivity, goals and how much downtime you're comfortable with. We start where your skin can comfortably handle it and build up across visits, so your skin adjusts gradually.
How many acne peels will I need?
Most clients see the best results from a series of 3 or more peels spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, and a 3-peel package for $399 saves $48. Many people notice less oil and fewer clogged pores after the first peel, and breakouts and marks improve as the series continues.
Is there downtime after a salicylic acid peel?
Downtime stays minimal, even with a deep acne peel. Skin can look pink for a few hours and may feel dry or flake lightly for a few days. Skip the gym, saunas and other exfoliants for a few days, and wear SPF every day.
Will a chemical peel help acne scars?
A salicylic acid peel can help post-acne marks fade and soften mild, shallow texture over a series. It does not remove deep or pitted acne scars. For deeper scarring, ask your skin therapist about other treatments.
Salicylic acid peel vs. glycolic peel: which is better for acne?
Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it works inside the pore, which makes it the usual choice for breakouts, blackheads and oily skin. Glycolic acid works on the surface for glow and texture. Our Lunchtime Glycolic Peel is the better fit if your main goal is glow rather than breakouts.
Do you do blue light after the peel?
Yes. Blue light therapy is included in your peel price when it's right for your skin, usually after a lighter peel application. After a stronger application we skip it, because added heat isn't right for freshly peeled skin.
Can I add Lux Red Light Therapy?
Yes. Add Lux Red Light Therapy for $29 more: the Advanced Acne Peel + Lux Red Light Therapy option is $178 and 65 minutes. It helps speed healing and calm inflammation. Choose that option when you book.
Can men and teens get an acne peel?
Yes. Men often book it for oily skin and breakouts, and it works well alongside shaving. Teens are welcome, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian present.
Can you treat back acne at the same visit?

Who should not get this peel?
