FCR is a Korean coral spicule treatment: a powder of 200-micron fractional spicules containing mineral-rich coral calcium, mixed with a botanical activator and massaged in by hand.
It’s performed by licensed skin therapists in our private Hillcrest studio and comes in two versions. The peeling version normalizes keratin (skin cell turnover) and deeply exfoliates. The no-peel version targets pigmentation.

Double cleanse
A thorough double cleanse preps your skin for even spicule application.
Exfoliation
Gentle enzymatic or manual exfoliation clears dead surface cells so the spicules reach the skin that needs them.
FCR coral spicule application
The powder is massaged in by hand. It starts like an ordinary exfoliating powder; after 3 to 5 minutes it feels like the spicules are below the skin, with a raw feeling. It’s intense, and it smells like the ocean.
Cooling calming mask
A cooling, calming mask soothes your skin after the spicules.
Lux Red Light Therapy
Your peel ends with a 5-minute medical-grade Lux Red Light Therapy session.
About 55 minutes. Expect a laser-like heat for about an hour afterward.
